Rohtang pass situated at a height of 13,050 feet, is the source of the river Beas. It offers a magnificent view of the snow-clad mountains. The river passes through the northern Indian states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. The total length of the river is 470 km. Beas fulfill the thirst of local travelers and satiates the thirst of the fields of Punjab before falling into the Arabian Sea. The river emerges from a grotto at the Rohtang pass and offers various identities as the season goes by.

Beas Kund is known as a place of historical significance, and the most splendid and sacred place in the Dhauladhar range. It is also one of the most alluring treks in the Kullu region. During your trail, you can witness the panoramic views of Pir Pangal range also. The best season for this trek is May to October. You can grasp some wild strawberries on the way to Beas Kund and see herds of sheep and goats. The summer trek is quite good for the beginners due to shorter duration and low difficulty level.
